Driving Directions The Virginia Lovers' Gourd Society is proud to host their 7th Annual Gourd Festival. This is a unique marketplace for anyone enjoying folk art and learning from the artisans themselves how to create gourd art! For more information, see our website.
Special attractions include a Silent Auction of Gourd Art benefiting a Virginia youth agriculture program; gourd crafting classes at a very reasonable price of $25.00 each (sign up in advance if possible); a place to buy craft-ready gourds from several raw gourd suppliers; a place to buy completed original gourd art; a opportunity to hear comedy hillbilly quartet Ricochet (Saturday) and a folk band (Sunday); and, held at a farm market, where all food is made from produce grown or raised within 500 feet of the market.
Admission is FREE! Adequate parking for buses.
